The Education Minister of Delhi, Ashish Sood, announced that the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Act, 2025, and the corresponding Rules, 2025, came into effect.
After two schools in the national capital received bomb threats earlier in the day, Sanskriti School also received a similar threatening email on Wednesday, which included references to the Khalistan movement.
The Indian School in New Delhi received a bomb threat via email on Wednesday. The school issued a notice to the parents immediately afterwards to collect the students as a precautionary measure.
Deepshikha, the woman who saw the school student last time, before he headed to the Rajendra Place Metro Station and allegedly committed suicide, said that he looked disturbed and told her that the teachers "tortured" him.
