An Air India flight AI-183 from Delhi to San Francisco has been diverted to Krasnoyarsk International Airport (UNKL) in Russia due to technical reasons, said Air India.
Air India has said that it will refund journey fare and provide a voucher for future travel to passengers who were stranded for nearly two days in Magadan after their New Delhi-San Francisco flight was diverted to the Russian city following a technical snag in one of its engines
Earlier, on Tuesday, a Delhi-San Francisco Air India flight was diverted to Russia's Magadan due to an engine glitch, the airline said, adding that the flight landed safely in Russia.
Among the flight routes affected by the severe fog were Delhi-San Francisco/Kathmandu, Delhi-Chandigarh-Kullu, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Dharamshala-Chandigarh, Delhi-Shimla- Dharamshala, Delhi-Dehradun.
