The Delhi High Court on Tuesday asked Delhi Police to file a note on the role of accused Tasleem Ahmed. He is accused in the larger Conspiracy of the Delhi riots and sought regular bail.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday listed the bail plea of Tasleem Ahmed before the roster bench for hearing. Earlier, a special bench was hearing the bail plea along with pleas of other accused in the larger conspiracy case of the Delhi riots in 2020.
The deceased Babbu was caught in the stone pelting by two communal groups at Khajuri Chowk on February 25, 2020. He was beaten by one of the groups. He died in the Hospital two days later during treatment. He had several head injuries.
Shahrukh Pathan is facing a trial in two riots cases. He is an accused in case of aiming a pistol at a police constable Deepak Dahiya during North East Delhi riots of 2020, he has been in custody since March 3, 2020.
