Patiala House Court on Wednesday granted three-day police custody of six accused persons. They have been arrested in a case linked to the protest organised Near India Gate.
Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Sahil Monga remanded the accused persons to 3 days' judicial custody after hearing submissions from the Delhi Police and their counsel.
"For the first time, we encountered the use of chilli spray against police personnel. A few of our officers were sprayed in the eyes and are currently receiving treatment at RML Hospital. Legal action is being taken in this regard," a Delhi Police official said.
