Delhi Police crime branch has arrested a young man in east Delhi's Pandav Nagar for allegedly murdering his step-father with the help of her mother at their residence in Trilokpuri.
In a chilling resemblance to the Shraddha Walkar murder case, Delhi Police on Monday arrested a woman and her son allegedly for killing her husband and chopping him into pieces and then storing the bits in a refrigerator.
On Friday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also joined the ongoing investigation into the alleged malware attack, with agencies including the India Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), Delhi Police, Intelligence Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Ministry of
Delhi Police is probing the Shraddha Walkar murder case in which she was strangulated to death by her live-in partner Aaftab who then allegedly chopped her body into 35 pieces before dumping it in the Chhatarpur area of the national capital.
"DNA test report (of victim's body parts) has not been received by the police", said Sagar Preet Hooda, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Zone II.
"During patrolling near the Tayyab Masjid area yesterday, a police constable noticed a gathering. One Asif Mohd Khan, father of Congress MCD Counselor candidate Ariba Khan along with his supporters was addressing the gathering using a loud hailer," said Delhi Police.
Delhi Police on Friday lodged a case against Asif Mohammad Khan, father of Congress MCD councillor nominee Ms Ariba Khan, for misbehaving and manhandling with police personnel on duty in front of Shaheen Bagh Tayyab Masjid.
The accused have been identified as Anil and Ravi Sharma, residents of Mahendra Park, who allegedly molested the complainant. Accused Anil is a Delhi Police personnel, posted at Azadpur Metro Station.
The State Election Commission has prepared a list of 3,356 critical booths at 492 locations ahead of civic polls in the national capital on the basis of inputs from Delhi Police and district election officers, officials said on Friday.
