Delhi Police Special Commissioner (Law and order), Sagar Preet Hooda, on Tuesday held a press conference and said that the 20-year-old woman, who was killed in an accident was not alone at the time of the incident.
"When we traced the route of the deceased, it was found that she wasn't alone on her scooty. A girl was with her at the time of the accident. She suffered injuries and fled from the spot but the deceased's legs got stuck in the car, after which she was dragged," said Delhi Police.
A 20-year-old girl was killed after she was hit by a car and then dragged for a few kilometres on the road, being entangled in the wheels, the police informed on Sunday.
The blood samples of all the five accused in the Kanjhawala death case in the national capital were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory Division for examination to determine if they had consumed alcohol, sources said on Monday.
