Meanwhile, Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, who have been leading the protest against the country's wrestling federation Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have resumed their duties in the Railways.
A youth who was mowed down in a hit-and-run case at Delhi's Indraprastha College (IP College) red light was identified and the bus driver who fled the scene has also been apprehended, said Delhi police on Tuesday.
"A case has been registered under section 376 IPC and 6 POCSO Act. The alleged accused has been apprehended and sent to a juvenile home", the police informed.
It was revealed that accused Sukesh Chandrasekar was present in the chamber/office of Superintendent Jail, Rohini for a much longer time against the prescribed rules, the report submitted.
"The motive behind the murder is the personal enmity between the accused and the deceased regarding a year-old feud. The deceased had also threatened them with dire consequences," Delhi police said.
