A FIR registered under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in connection with the Parliament security breach on Thursday revealed the insights of the case and showed the meticulous planning done by the accused.
A Mumbai-based advocate, Asim Sarode has said that charges framed against the accused involved in parliament security breach case are wrong and he will be providing legal aid to the accused, Amol Shinde, who originally hails from Latur district of Maharashtra.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police, conducting an investigation into the Parliament security breach case, has detained two more people following their suspected association with five arrested in the case.
Lalit Jha, the fifth accused and mastermind in Parliament security breach case, has burned the mobile phones of his associates along with his friend Mahesh after fleeing to Rajasthan's Kuchaman, said police sources.
According to sources, the accused will be taken to the Parliament to recreate the scene of the crime. This will help the police to find out how the accused entered the Parliament building with colour spray and how they executed their plan, sources from the Special Cell said.
"Lalit Jha reached Nagaur in Rajasthan by bus. There he met his two friends and spent the night in a hotel. When he realized that the police were searching for him, he came back to Delhi by bus," the Delhi Police said according to a preliminary investigation.
The accused, Lalit Jha who had been absconding in the matter was arrested from Delhi. He is alleged to be the mastermind behind the entire conspiracy in the Parliament Security breach case.
The BJP's West Bengal president Sukanta Majumdar on Thursday alleged a close link between TMC leader Tapas Roy and the accused mastermind of the Parliament security breach, identified as Lalit Jha.
The Additional Sessions Judge Dr Hardeep Kaur on Thursday allowed all four accused Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde and Neelam Devi to Mumbai, Mysore, and Lucknow to probe and find actual motives behind their act.
While Opposition members raised a ruckus in both Houses of the Parliament over the massive security breach on Wednesday, Delhi Police claimed a "well-planned conspiracy" behind the incident on Thursday.
Four persons arrested in connection with the security breach in Parliament have taken common responsibility for the incident and are reportedly said to have been giving "rote answers" to the investigation team of the cell in the matter, police sources said on Thursday.
