In view of Republic Day celebrations, no flights will arrive or depart from Delhi Airport between 10:20 am and 12:45 pm from January 19 to January 26, according to an official statement from Delhi International Airport Limited.
As the country is gearing up for the 75th Republic Day, the Delhi Police on Friday prohibited flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms, including paragliders, paramotors, hang gliders, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the national capital.
As many as six people were evacuated and five people were charred to death when a fire broke out in a house in northwest Delhi's Pitampura area on Thursday evening.
"Three casualties were reported and two more deaths have been confirmed in the blaze at Pritampura residence, taking the count of deaths to five," updated Delhi Police.

Based on the hotel's complaint, a case was registered against the woman on January 13 under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and she was arrested. The accused woman was later released on bail.
