After a video of a vada pav seller being 'arrested' by police officials went viral on social media, Delhi police on Saturday responded to the videos, saying that the woman was not arrested, and no case has been registered against her.
The Delhi Police has arrested Arun Reddy, who handles the 'Spirit of Congress' X account, in connection with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah's doctored video case.
The accused, identified as Md Faijan (35) and is a resident of Sawda in Delhi has six cases of murder, extortion, robbery, and theft registered against him.
"Five people including Telangana Social Media Convenor Naveen and Taslima have been arrested by the Cyber Crime unit of Telangana police based on a complaint by Telangana BJP. Delhi Police has not arrested them," Telangana Congress Media Convenor Kamal Medagoni said speaking to ANI on Thursd
In response to a flurry of concerned messages circulating among WhatsApp groups over the Delhi school bomb threat case, the Delhi Police issued a stern reminder to the citizens of Delhi to exercise caution and responsibility when sharing unverified information.

"The timing of elections, taking data from so many schools, using Russian IP addresses using VPNs--all these are pointing towards a conspiracy," the sources said.
