The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favour of the Delhi government over control on services in the national capital and held it must have control over bureaucrats.
A five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court will pronounce on Thursday two verdicts relating to Maharashtra political crisis and the dispute between Delhi and the Central government on who should control administrative services in Delhi.

Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for the Delhi government, argued that LG has been delaying the matter saying he required legal opinion to ascertain if the concurrence of the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court is needed to make the appointment.
