According to the Delhi Fire Service, upon receiving the information about the fire, 11 fire tenders were duly sent to the spot to conduct the dousing operations.
According to the Delhi police, Bomb Detection Teams (BDTs) and CISF swiftly carried out thorough checks at both sites. However, no suspicious objects were found, and the call was later declared a hoax by the Delhi Police and the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
The Delhi Fire Service received a call about a fire at a restaurant in Old Rajinder Nagar on Tuesday. As per the information, two fire tenders rushed to the accident spot.
The incident took place around 10:32 pm yesterday, following which, firefighters from the Delhi Fire Service swiftly responded and arrived at the scene.
A 45-year-old man jumped from the Mayur Vihar metro station and was admitted to the hospital. He was hanging on the railing of the metro station. CISF and Delhi Fire Service tried to rescue but he jumped onto the road.
A fire broke out in a car garage in the Dwarka district late at night on Tuesday, destroying 11 vehicles, the officials said. The fire started in a garage located in a village near Dwarka Sector 24.
