After the Delhi government approved 'Mahila Samridhi Yojana' to provide Rs 2500 to women on the occasion of International Women's Day, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said that the committee has been formed and registration for the scheme will begin soon.
People gathered at CM Gupta's residence and extended their wishes by giving small plants and bouquets. She also attended a program on International Women's Day 2025 at Fortis Hospital Delhi.
Gupta earlier said that the budget session will begin on March 24 and the budget will be tabled by the newly formed government between March 24 and 26, in which the government will strive to take suggestions from all sections of society.
Addressing the gathering during a program, Women Power for Viksit Bharat 2047, Gupta said that symbolism doesn't work since women are representatives who protect the nation.
CM Gupta also took to social media post on X to inform about her visit and wrote, "Along with the officials, I visited Shalimar Village Chowk, Max Road, Haiderpur Village Chowk and other areas of Ward No. 55 under Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency to conduct a thorough assessment of the
