Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday called the sending of multi-party delegations to international capitals, to brief the global community about Operation Sindoor, a diversionary tactic and a public relations exercise by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Seven all-party delegations are visiting key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, in the context of Operation Sindoor and India's continued fight against cross-border terrorism.
BJP MP Brijlal said the delegation will visit five countries to expose Pakistan's support for terrorism. He highlighted India's clear stand to target only terrorists, not civilians, and praised PM Modi's efforts to destroy terrorist sites in Pakistan.
JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who is leading a delegation of parliamentarians on India's Operation Sindoor global outreach on Wednesday said delegation's job is to reveal the true face of Pakistan to the entire world on how it is promoting state- sponsored terrorism.
Calling it a "massive exercise", CPI-M leader John Brittas on Wednesday said that the all-party delegation will convey the message of the nation against the terror to the world community.
The delegation took inspiration from Operation Sindoor and decided to teach the students about the operations conducted by the Indian forces in the madrasas of Uttarakhand.
