Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday reviewed the damage caused by September 15 heavy rainfall in Sahastradhara, Maldevta, and other areas of Dehradun, as well as in other districts of the state
CM Dhami informed that considering the seriousness of the issue, Union Minister Amit Shah assured that Centre's emergency relief agencies, NDRF/ITBP are being deployed promptly to ensure that the Char Dham Yatra is not disrupted and that devotees face no inconvenience in their travel.
According to the SDRF, "We received information from the City Control Room (CCR) that some people had been trapped on an island near Robbers Cave (Guchhupani), for whose rescue SDRF team is required."
