The Israeli Defence Forces has asked civilians in Gaza city to relocate from their homes and move to the area south of the Wadi Gaza for their own safety. The IDF stated that citizens should return only when advised to do so. It also asked citizens to not approach the area on the security
Israeli Defence Forces spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus, on Friday said the country Israel aims to strip the terrorist group, Hamas, of all its military capabilities.
In a post shared on X, Israeli Air Force stated, "Air Force fighter jets attacked operatives of the terrorist organization Hamas and destroyed the organization's military posts."
"The IDF is responsible for the security of the country and its citizens, and on Saturday morning in the area surrounding the Gaza Strip, we did not handle it. We will learn, we will investigate, but now is the time for war," said IDF chief Herzi Halevi from southern Israel.
"I believe that the motivations they had here they saw that the Middle East is going to a good direction. Three years ago the Abraham Accords Gulf countries getting closer to Israel. I2U2 as economic foreign coming out of it, cooperation started," he said.
Appreciating the support of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Israeli Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon metaphorically stated that so many Indians volunteered to assist Israel that they could almost form another unit of the Israel Defence Force (IDF).
"Hamas is ISIS and just as ISIS was crushed, so too will Hamas be crushed. Hamas should be treated exactly the way ISIS was treated. They should be spit out from the community of nations. No leader should meet them, no country should harbour them and those that do should be sanctioned" he
"For us, it is very clear that Iran is involved. We are not sure about the planning, but sure about equipping them for a very long time with building the force and also training them," he said.
The Muslim Students' Organization Of India has condemned violence and attacks on civilians in Israel Hamas conflict. It called on two parties to act with restraint and avoid impulsive steps.
