The Metropolitan Court of Ahmedabad on Wednesday fixed 6th July as the next date of hearing in the defamation case against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.
A person named Pradeep Modi, a resident of Ranchi, had filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi for commenting on the Modi surname. Ranchi MP-MLA court is hearing the matter. Rahul Gandhi had sought exemption from physical examination.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Ahmedabad will hear the matter pertaining to the defamation case against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on June 12.
Following the submission of the synopsis of arguments by both parties, the court will decide when to pronounce the order on a petition filed by Rahul's side to quash the defamation case against him.
