Border Road Organisation (BRO) and Uttarakhand police cleared the Gangotri National Highway near Bishanpur, Netala, Helgugadh and Sungar for the vehicular movements that were blocked due to landslides and debris on Monday morning.
The disaster control room was notified at around 3 am today that the two were buried under the debris of a building at around 1:30 am due to a landslide.
According to Raigad Police, "Traffic is stopped at Tamhini Ghat in the Raigad-Pune route due to a landslide. Traffic will be stopped for the next few hours until the debris is cleared."

According to Deogarh District Collector, Vishal Sagar, "A three-storey building collapsed here in Deogarh early on Sunday. Two people have been rescued from the site and many others are feared trapped in the debris. Rescue operations are underway."
A total of seven bodies have been recovered from the debris formed due to the collapse of a five-storey building in Surat in Gujarat, an official said on Sunday.
