A 5-year-old boy fell into a borewell while playing in Rajasthan's Dausa district on Monday evening, prompting the district administration to launch a rescue operation.
The vote counting for the Dausa Assembly by-election began on Saturday at PG College, with strict security measures in place. Devendra Kumar, the District Returning Officer, confirmed that the counting will be completed in 18 rounds.
"Yesterday my wedding ceremony took place and today before the farewell rituals I have come to cast my vote. Voting is very important and everyone should vote..." she said.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a roadshow in Dausa on Sunday in favour of the BJP candidate Jagmohan Meena ahead of the Assembly by-elections here.
