The Amarnath Yatra has continues to attract a significant number of devotees, with the number of pilgrims having darshan at the Holy Cave surpassing 1.4 lakh since July 1.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday interacted with people who came for Janata Darshan, despite being busy with preparations and supervision on the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After offering the customary prayers to the gurus and deities on temple premises Guru Purnima, CM Yogi Adityanath continued the tradition of listening to the problems and complaints of people at Janata Darshan and assured them of prompt and effective action to resolve them.
"If the world has to progress and humanity has to survive then the Indian way is the way forward and that way is 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," MoS Lekhi said during an exhibition 'Banking on World Heritage' at Darshanam Gallery of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.
Minister of Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments, PK Sekar Babu said, "The state government will ensure devotees can take darshan without any hindrance. Efforts are being made to bring Chidambaram Natarajar Temple under HR&CE".
"Today, Modi Ji has put India on the world map, I don't think we could ask for anything more. People have started looking up to India, the business people," he said.
Listening to the problems of around 700 people during the Janata Darshan held outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at Gorakhnath Temple on Thursday, CM Yogi said: "Protecting public health is our responsibility, so money should not be an obstacle in anyone's treatment.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accomplishments both for the Sikh community and the country, Darshan Singh Dhaliwal, a member of the Sikh community, expressed strong support for PM Modi, stating that the Sikh community stands behind him due to his significant contributions.
The famous festival, usually celebrated in June-July, begins when Lord Jagannath and his two siblings - elder brother Lord Balabhadra and younger sister Devi Subhadra are ready to give darshan to the public in Raths and visit Gundicha Temple.
As the final preparations for the world-famous Rath Yatra are underway, adequate arrangements have been made for the devotees visiting Puri for darshan, said police officials.
