The Dwarka District Court dismissed the bail plea in view of the seriousness and gravity of the alleged offence. The court also said that the Delhi police has not invoked sections related to dacoity as one of the accused is a police constable.
The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Muhammed Gufran, a criminal wanted for multiple cases of murder and dacoity in Pratapgarh and Sultanpur districts for many years. Police had placed a reward of Rs 1,25,000 lakh for his capture.

A Delhi Court on Friday directed to frame charges against 19 accused persons under sections related to conspiracy for rioting, promoting enmity between two groups, arson, dacoity, murder etc.
A special court in Bengaluru has convicted an Improvised Explosives Device (IED) fabrication expert as the ninth accused in the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen-Bangladesh (JMB) dacoity case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on Thursday.
The police said that the accused had committed Dacoity. During the offence, they grievously injured the businessman by firing at him with a pistol and decamped him with Rs 40 lakhs on January 29.
