West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh on Thursday slammed the Trinamool Congress (TMC) over plans to move an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar in the Parliament.
"After concluding our five-day dharna at Dharmatala, I took a moment to personally meet C. V. Ananda Bose, the Hon'ble Ex Governor of West Bengal, ahead of his departure tomorrow," Banerjee wrote.
"There is only one party and one government. Indian democracy has been eclipsed. If you want to win the election, return the people's voting rights," Banerjee said.
"The fact remains that I have taken a conscious decision to resign. The reasons for this will remain confidential till the right time comes," Bose said while speaking to reporters in Kolkata.
