Customs officials found gold worth Rs 65 lakh from two passengers who had come from Dubai at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday, said an official.
The operation involved interception at multiple locations across the state where the customs officials got hold of carriers of smuggled gold who were travelling in different modes of public transport.
"During the examination of the said passenger, grey-coloured trunk underwear weighing 649.05-gram gold in paste form was seized," the customs official said.
