The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday arrested the alleged kingpin of the 2020 Kerala gold smuggling scam, KT Ramees. Ramees was earlier arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and was out on bail.
The order was issued by Judicial First Class Magistrate, who reached the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital, where the accused, Saifi, was undergoing treatment on Friday morning, to complete the process of remand.
"Bandi Sanjay and 3 others have been sent to judicial custody till April 19 and will be shifted to Karimnagar jail," said Advocate Karuna Sagar, lawyer of Bandi Sanjay.
