Raising concerns over rising incidents of crimes against women, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said that efforts should be made to crush such incidents.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the security officials were called around 9:35 pm on Thursday (local time) at the O2 Academy on Stockwell Road, SW9 following reports that a large number of people were attempting to force entry to the venue.
As per information, the jawan who was travelling on Rajdhani Express was pushed from the moving train by a TTE following an altercation. As a result, one leg of the jawan got amputated and another was crushed after he fell off the moving train. This incident happened on Thursday.
Amidst the drive to 'crush' the Cannabis plantation in Andhra Pradesh, DGP Rajendranath said, 7500 acres of Cannabis cultivation have been destroyed in the state.
The collision was so intense that the driver's cabins of both buses were crushed. Around 20 passengers were injured in this incident, and they have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment, the police said.
