A man was arrested for allegedly mowing down two labourers and injuring two others near the NLU red light in Southwest Delhi's Dwarka on Thursday, police said.
Haji'ahun and his wife Mehpiremhan, natives of Maralbeshi county in Kashgar prefecture, were each given a 10-year term in Tumshuq Prison in 2019 for engaging in "illegal" religious activities, sources quoted by RFA said.
During the interrogation, the accused also claimed that he tried to dispose of the body fearing that he might be held responsible for her death, police said in a statement.
