Leading a fragile coalition of 10 parties demanding their share in the cabinet, the Nepal Prime Minister who secured his seat for the second time since getting into power at end of December claimed he will be expanding the cabinet this week.

Dahal, also chairman of the third highest seat-holding party- Maoist Center in the parliament, came to power garnering the support of CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist) led by KP Sharma Oli along with other small parties.
Ram Sahay of the Janata Samajbadi Party defeated Ashta Laxmi Shakya of CPN-UML and Mamata Jha of the Janamat Party to become the country's third Vice President, reported Kathmandu Post.
It would be Nepal PM Dahal's second-floor test in parliament in about 3 months after the Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) withdrew support from the government.
"All political forces will have to sit together to take the country forward," the premier said while addressing a meeting held with a delegation of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) at the PM House, Dawn reported.
Nepal is set to vote for its new president on Thursday. The Election Commission on Wednesday announced preparations for the election to be complete and results expected at 7 PM (Local Time).
