In his remarks at the closing plenary of the United Nations Climate Change Conference or COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Yadav stated that India welcomes the efforts to address climate change.
COP 27 President Sameh Shoukry said, "I invite the CMA to adopt the draft decision of title funding arrangements for responding to loss and damage associated with the adverse effects of climate change, including the focus on addressing loss and damage."
The statement of Hafiz Aziz Ahmed comes as the United Nations Climate Change Conference, most commonly referred to as COP27, is being held in Egypt from 6 November to 18 November.
