Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday emphasised the importance of integrating forensic sciences investigation with the criminal justice system to increase the conviction rate.
In the conference, Fadnavis reviewed the current rate of crime in the state and discussed strategies to be adopted expedite conviction and maintain law and order.
These cases include 35 cases of Jihadi terror in states such as Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal.
