A special court of the National Investigation Agency on Thursday convicted and sentenced two accused to five years of rigorous imprisonment in a fake currency seizure case of 2019.
Senior Advocate V Chitambaresh, appearing for the three convicts, mentioned the matter before a bench headed by Justice BV Nagarathna, seeking urgent listing of the case, saying the time of surrender is expiring on January 21.
They alongwith two others were convicted for murder and running a crime syndicate. The court had directed that convicts shall undergo the life sentence consecutively.
