Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir and took stock of the security situation along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday and asked the troops to remain extra vigilant so that no untoward incident occurs in the future.
"A fire broke out at a scrap godown at around 3 a.m. this morning. The cause of the fire is yet to be identified. There are no casualties. The fire is completely under control," says Rajendranagar ADFO, Srinivas.

"At present, there is no control on distributing Aravana at Sabarimala temple. During the Mandal season, we have given an agreement to a Maharashtra company for supplying the jaggery needed. Every day, 32 tonnes of jaggery is been supplied," Prashant said.
