Anmol Bishnoi, brother and close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been remanded to 11-day custody by the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court at Patiala House Court on Wednesday following his arrest after extradition from the United States.
As per court sources, the NIA submitted before court that they need his custody to unearth the larger conspiracy behind the November 10 bast near the Red Fort in the city.
Amir Rashid Ali, arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the November 10 Delhi terror blast, was produced before the Patiala House Court in the national capital on Monday.
"Following the blast near the Red Fort, police have been questioning Kashmiri students and tenants living on rent in Faridabad. So far, Faridabad police have questioned over 2,000 tenants and are continuing to question them further," according to a statement from Faridabad Police.
The United Hindu Front on Sunday held protests condemning the terror blast near the Red Fort on November 10, which claimed the lives of 12 people and left several others injured.
"SIR wasn't an issue at all. They should be aware of the ground reality. The people of Bihar have rejected them, and they have created such a face in Bihar that they were bound to be rejected by the people of Bihar," Kushwaha said.
He termed the SIR as an "electoral conspiracy", asserting that after Bihar, it won't be possible in other states, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh or any other state.
The CBI, acting as the National Central Bureau (NCB) for INTERPOL in India, played a pivotal role in tracking the fugitive. On May 6, 2025, a Red Notice was issued against Punetha at the request of Uttarakhand Police.
According to police sources, the Brezza went missing and another Red EcoSport car, which was already seized by the Faridabad Police and is suspected to be in connection with the prime accused Dr Umar.
