Patiala House Court on Wednesday granted interim protection from arrest to a T-shirt designer in connection with the AI Summit protest case, which took place on February 20 and was allegedly organised by Indian Youth Congress workers at Bharat Mandapam.

The BJP delegation urged the Governor to intervene in the matter and sought an appropriate inquiry and necessary action. The three Youth Congress members were arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with a protest held in the national capital.
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Mridul Gupta granted further police custody of accsued Indian Youth Congress Gwalior District President Raja Gujar and former Bhind District Vice President Ajay Kumar Vimal. They were produced before the court after expiry of three days of police custody.

Three Youth Congress workers detained by Delhi Police from Rohru in Shimla district early Wednesday were brought back to Himachal Pradesh after intervention by the state police, officials said.
