Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Sunday took a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that the Wayanad MP realised his responsibilities after 52 years.
Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Friday said that the party will emerge stronger after the 85the Plenary Session beginning today in Chhattisgarh's Raipur and added that the countdown of the NDA government at the Centre has begun with the meeting.
Congress leader Pawan Khera was granted interim bail by a court in Delhi's Dwarka on Thursday after orders of Supreme Court following his arrest earlier in the day by Assam Police for alleged remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi
"I don't know. I was told that your baggage has to be checked. I said I do not have any luggage except a handbag. When I came down, I was told that I cannot go, a DCP would come. We are waiting for the DCP for the last 20 minutes. I don't know why am I being stopped," he said.
Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday, the chief minister said, "Only a few days are left for our three-day plenary session. All arrangements are underway for ministers and delegates. I am obliged to the party high command for giving us this chance to host the session this year."
Congress on Friday constituted Organising Committee and Reception Committee for the 85th Plenary Session of the party to be held between February 24-26 in Raipur.
