Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday addressed the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan AICC Observers' Meeting, emphasising the party's commitment to grassroots strengthening and people-centric ideals.
The Chief Minister apprised them of various initiatives undertaken by the present state government in the fields of health, education, tourism, and environmental conservation, as per the release.
"I appeal to the government and administration to expedite relief efforts and, after assessing the crop devastation, provide complete assistance to the farmers. I urge Congress leaders and workers to cooperate with the administration and provide all possible help to those in need," Gandhi po
The Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Wednesday targeted the BJP-led government during the meeting in Patna, accusing it of "systematically dismantling democratic institutions and constitutional values."
Kumar mentioned that discussions related to stopping the division of people in society and uplifting Dalits, backward classes, the poor, and women were also held in the meeting.
"This meeting (being) attended by the same Congress leaders who have continuously insulted Bihar and its people and made derogatory remarks," Malviya posted on X.
Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Wednesday said the people of Bihar want change and expressed confidence that the party will form the government with a clear majority in the upcoming Assembly elections.
"India was looked up to by every nation, and whenever a problem arose anywhere in the world, Nehru used to take the lead. That is how Nehru was respected. Now, nobody respects our Prime Minister. It's most unfortunate. Our foreign policy failed on every front," Moily told ANI.
Senior Congress leaders have started arriving in Bihar to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting scheduled for Wednesday in Patna. The timing and location of the meeting are considered crucial, with the Bihar Assembly elections expected by the end of 2025.
Bajwa highlighted the discrepancy between figures announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and those reported by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema.
