Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Manikanta Rathod on Saturday termed the allegations made by the Congress as "false" after the grand old party alleged that a plot is being hatched to murder their party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and his entire family.
According to the Congress' internal report, the party hopes to gain power in Karnataka and leaves no stone unturned. In this regard, the party is continuously asking for secret reports from supervisors so that wherever there is any deficiency, it can be rectified.
The Congress party on Tuesday in its manifesto for the upcoming May 10 Karnataka Assembly elections said it will take "decisive action" as per law including banning organisations like Bajrang Dal, the Popular Front of India and others.
Amid the row over Congress's promise to ban Bajrang Dal in its manifesto for Karnataka elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje said the ruling party will recite Hanuman Chalisa across Karnataka on Thursday evening.
