The Chief Minister visited Jhalawar to take stock of the preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra which is likely to enter the state via Jhalawar on December 4.
Addressing a public meeting in Ujjain, Rahul said, "India has always been a country of Tapaswi (ascetics). In Hinduism, Tapaswis are always worshipped. Be it barbers, gardeners, small traders, shopkeepers, labourers, or farmers -- all do Tapasya for their entire lives."

Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra on Tuesday entered Ujjain, where the Congress leader will offer prayers at Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and hold a public meeting.

"Bharat Jodo Yatra is underway. It isn't only for elections and votes, we're also doing it to connect people with an ideology and that some people are trying to jeopardise values enshrined in the constitution. Yatra is meant to unite people against divisive forces," Kharge said while talking
The party's general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with her husband Robert Vadra, also participated in the yatra with party MP Rahul Gandhi and others.
"Ashok Gehlot is a senior and experienced leader, I don't know who is advising him to level false, baseless allegations against me. Today it is required to strengthen the party," said Congress leader Sachin Pilot while talking to ANI.
