Union MoS for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu called the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and Congress MPs "Sadad ka gunda" (street thug) following a heated exchange between the two leaders outside the Parliament.
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa slammed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for calling Union MoS Ravneet Singh Bittu a "traitor," recalling Operation Blue Star and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
"In view of the aforesaid discussion, there exists sufficient grounds to summon the accused persons Ragini Nayak, Pawan Khera and Jai Ram Ramesh under section 465, 469, 471, 499, 500 IPC on 27.07.026. Accordingly, the said three accused persons were summoned," JMFC ordered on Monday.
Union MoS for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu hit back at Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over "traitor" remark, saying the Congress leader is using such language because he quit the party and switched to the BJP.
Speaking to the reporters, Venugopal said, "We are ready to function, but it is up to them. They don't want the House to function. They can suspend each and every member of the House."
