Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday extended his congratulations to Nitin Nabin on assuming charge as the new national President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In an X post, Jairam Ramesh asked PM Modi, to clarify if anybody opposed to him will be termed an 'urban naxal'. The Congress leader cited the Union Home Ministry's answer in Rajya Sabha in 2020, which said that the ministry does not use the term.
He also claimed that the developments had surprised even the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). "Even RSS is stunned to see this," the Congress MP alleged.
