The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday arrested an accused Enforcement Officer of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli while accepting a bribe amount of Rs 2 lakh from the complainant, Officials said on Monday.
As per an official release, a case was registered on a complaint against the accused officer serving as sub-inspector at Delhi's Jamia Nagar Police Station on the allegations of demanding a bribe from the complainant.
