One person was killed and two were injured after their car collided with a truck near the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation building on Thursday night.
Four people died on the spot. The tanker truck was transporting petrol from Irugur in Coimbatore district near Manakadau on the Dhrapuram-Palani road while the car was moving from Periyanayakan Palayam in Coimbatore district to Palani in Dindigul district for a wedding ceremony.
According to Punjab police, "The incident took place early in the morning at 2:00 am near Mehlan Chowk in Sunam Taluk of Sangrur district. The six passengers were returning after paying obeisance at the Dargah of Baba Haider Sheikh in Malerkotla."
According to District Magistrate, Badaun, Manoj Kumar, "The road accident took place when both the bus and van carrying school students collided with each other on Mayun Nabiganj Road in the Usawan police station area of Badaun district."
Rawat's car on Tuesday collided with a divider at Bazpur while he was traveling from Haldwani to Udham Singh Nagar's Kashipur on Tuesday. In a post on social media app X, Rawat said he felt mild tremors after the collision, following which he got himself checked up in a hospital.
At least seven children were injured after the school van they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Sadar Bazar Road area in southwest Delhi on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Four people were killed and around seventeen injured after a bus carrying passengers collided with a trolley in Pratapgarh district in the early hours of Saturday.
According to officials, five youths who were travelling in a car which collided head on with a container. They had gone to drop a friend home, and were returning when the accident took place, they said.
