Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Balasore on Saturday morning to take stock of the ground situation after two passenger trains collided with a goods train leaving several injured.

According to the police, the victims were travelling in a car which reportedly collided with a tree at Baldeo Road area in Mathura. There were five people on board when the incident took place, they said.
"Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Monday, Secret Service Uniformed Division officers detained the driver of a box truck after the vehicle collided with security barriers on the north side of Lafayette Square at 16th Street," according to the official statement released by US Secret Service.
"After the collision, a fire broke out in the oil tanker and engulfed the truck as well. As a result, the truck driver was killed and the co-driver jumped from the vehicle to save his life," added the officials.
"10 killed and one child seriously injured after a truck and car collided near Jagatra in Balod district. The injured has been referred to Raipur for better treatment. Search for the driver of the truck underway," he said.
