A two-storey building collapsed in the Bapa Nagar area of Karol Bagh on Wednesday morning, leaving several people fear-trapped under the debris, said officials of Delhi Fire Services.
Six children and four others died after a three-storey building collapsed in Zakir Colony, Meerut, due to heavy rains in the area, officials confirmed on Sunday.
As the death toll rose to 10 in the tragic Meerut building collapse, District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh per deceased and Rs. 1.20 lakh for the re-construction is being given to the victims' family members.
The five injured individuals have been admitted to the hospital for medical treatment, while the recovered bodies have been sent to the hospital for further medical procedures, including post-mortem.
Three people were killed while six others are still trapped in the rubble after a building collapsed on Saturday, said District Magistrate Deepak Meena.
Amid heavy rains over the past few days, a building collapsed in the Zakir Colony of Meerut on Saturday. According to Commissioner Meerut Division, 8 to 10 people are feared trapped in the rubble.

Collector Sandeep Kumar Mawkin said, "On September 12, at around 4 am, a wall of a fort called Rar collapsed due to continuous rainfall for around 36 hours in the district and nine members of a family got buried inside it. The locals immediately swung into action and rescued two members of t
