New Delhi [India], Dec 5 (ANI): As Cyclone Ockhi weakened over the sea area with landfall over south Gujarat and north Maharashtra, the Indian Coast Guard ships and aircraft have continued the efforts to locate and provide assistance to the stranded fishermen at the sea.
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Dec 5 (ANI): The Mumbai centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday urged the fisherman working on the Maharashtra-Goa coasts to not venture in the sea for the next 48 hours.
Trivandrum (Kerala) [India], Dec 4 (ANI): The Indian Coast Guard on Monday rescued 19 fishermen from the remote islands of L&M, who were stranded at sea following Cyclone Ockhi.
Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu) [India], December 4 (ANI): Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday informed that, so far, 357 fishermen, including 71 from Tamil Nadu, who had been stranded in sea due to Cyclone Ockhi, have been rescued.

Kochi (Kerala) [India], Dec 3 (ANI): As rescue operations continue in full strength post the cyclonic storm 'Ockhi', Commodore G Prakash, the Commanding Officer of INS Venduruthy, said 25 people were rescued from Lakshadweep and 13 picked off the Kerala coast.
