The India Meteorological Department (IMD) updated about heavy rainfall activity over a few places of Konkan and adjoining ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra.
"Monsoon is in its advanced stage and is active. We can see clouds over Kokan, Goa, Central India, as well as Northeastern states," according to IMD senior scientist who has predicted heavy rainfall (more than 12 cm) in Madhya Pradesh over the next two days.
