Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken note of the request of the students evacuated from Iran regarding the quality of buses arranged to transport them from Delhi to J-K, the chief minister's office informed on Thursday.
Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh, on Thursday, lauded Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal for the success of the 'CM Di Yogshala' initiative, part of the government's 'Rangla Punjab' mission.
"94 of our students evacuated from Iran have safely reached Delhi. The Government is making transport arrangements to ensure their smooth journey home, which will be in place within the next few hours," the CM's post read.
In a post on X, CM Sarma said the operation, conducted on Wednesday, underscores the state's commitment to protecting natural ecosystems while ensuring fairness and adherence to the law.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that Uttarakhand is the land of yoga and sages, adding that efforts have been made by the government in this direction so that everyone is connected to yoga at the village level.
"The Kerala government has arranged for accommodation at Kerala House in Delhi for those arriving from the conflict zone and will facilitate their return to Kerala as soon as flights become available," said Vijayan.
