Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar conducted an early morning visit to the Hinjewadi area of Pune district on Saturday to review ongoing efforts to address pressing civic issues in the region. The visit was followed by a meeting with concerned officials.
Appreciating the publication of the book in this direction, the Chief Minister expected that a Hindi version of the book should also be prepared, as per the release.
The International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) team, led by Soumitra Dasgupta, presented a cheque of rupees three crore to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the conservation and management of the newly notified Tsarap Chu Conservation Reserve, said the statement.
He said that the UCC law not only makes the society more legally organised, but is also a decisive step towards protecting the rights of women and safeguarding their interests. Every registration under UCC is a symbol of social empowerment for the state.
