"It is very unfortunate, the Congress first created hurdles in the Ram Mandir and now they hurt the sentiments of the majority population of the country by insulting the Pran Pratistha ceremony. The Congress should apologise for this," the CM said.
After an incidence of fresh violence in the state, Manipur CM N. Biren met injured security personnel.
Speaking to ANI, Manipur CM said "We have been reported from many sources about the involvement of mercenaries from Myanmar's side. Their involvement is highly plausible."

Clarifying stance, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that he is not against people following Christianity as their religious faith adding that his concerns revolve around specific actions like the slaughtering of cows and religious conversion.
"As mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and even myself during the election campaigning, the first task of our government will be to provide 18 lakh houses to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana," Sai told ANI.
