The Goa Chief Minister on Friday congratulated everyone for the successful completion of the Amrit Kalash Yatra and sent 24 people carrying soil from Goa to Delhi for PM Modi's 'Meri Matti Mera Desh' program on October 31.
Goa CM Pramod Sawant on Wednesday visited Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Fatorda Stadium) in Margao to review the final preparations ahead of the 37th National Games of India 2023 on Wednesday.
"To make Goa a 100 per cent digitalised state, we will send a new project to PM Modi... This would make Goa the first state to be a digital state and we need the centre's support for this. We have also asked for a separate fund for this...," said Sawant.

Comparing the previous Bharatiya Janata Party government with the present Congress government in Chhattisgarh, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said that the previous Raman Singh-led government was like "sweets" while the current Bhupesh Baghel-led government is like "chillies".
“Whatever the DMK leader said about Sanatan Dharma, I can say that nobody could erased the Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Whosoever talks about eradicating the Hindu religion will themselves get erased. Sanatan (Dharma) came from eternity and will remain till eternity,” he said.
