CM Patel allocated Rs 455.35 crore under the Golden Jubilee Chief Minister Urban Development Scheme, which was started by the Prime Minister in the year 2010 as the then Chief Minister, to realize the name of organized and planned urban development.
CM Patel said, "The government has made Gujarati education compulsory from classes 1 to 8 to give priority to the mother tongue Gujarati in education".
